DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Global Immigration Group
- Prepare and submit various foreign government or federal agency forms and supporting documentation as required by the relevant government agencies.
- Coordinate administrative and legal operations regarding immigration matters for specific clients.
- Prepare filing for visa applicants, preparing analysis and responding to foreign government inquiries.
- May enlist support of business immigration team for vital records, business visas.
- Maintain extensive files including database containing all employees of Client, their current status and updates pertaining to any ongoing processes using company software.
- Log all activity in company software.
- Works with colleagues in various departments and as appropriate.
Communication & Feedback
- Main point of contact assistance to clients regarding immigration issues.
- Develop and maintain clear time line deliverables for each case.
- Manage a variety of different caseloads on behalf of different clients.
- Provides specific and constructive feedback on Network Partner performance to Network Partner Team.
- Collaborate with inside counsel in filing immigrant and nonimmigrant cases.
- Provides specific immigration feedback to the internal teams for system updates and client alerts on latest immigration changes in Dutch immigration.
Training
- Advise client business unit HR representatives, business managers and employees on company policy and Immigration regulations and requirements.
- Provide technical advice to clients, assignees and third party vendors regarding correct legislation.
- Evaluate and counsel client human resources and management regarding both short term and long term options available for candidates/employees.
Finance
- Complete timely billing for every case.
Reports
- Manage client specific reports outlining the current visa status, fees to date and ongoing actions being performed.
Travel
- Travel internationally as required.
- Attend On-site training for client HR departments and V&I Contractors as needed from time to time.
General
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:
- Dutch Immigration experience
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
- One to two years paralegal or international related experience and/or training.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability (English & Dutch):
- Ability to read, analyse, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Adobe, Skype and GoToMeeting.
