After 24 years the Yugoslavia Tribunal closed down. In this interview judge Orie looks back. He says that the tribunal made it clear that top brass would not be able to get away with war crimes anymore while 24 years ago that was just wishful thinking. He is right that much has changed. Vraag 1 Bent u voornemens de visumplicht voor inwoners van Servië te handhaven zolang de van oorlogsmisdaden verdachte generaal Ratko Mladic niet is uitgeleverd aan het Joegoslavië Tribunaal? Vraag 2 Deelt u de mening dat de uitlevering van generaal Mladic als voorwaarde voor het opheffen van de visumplicht een belangrijk signaal is aan de internationale gemeenschap? Zo nee, waarom niet?
