via Julien Luscuere In a highly anticipated ruling on 11 November 2016 the Council unexpectedly squashed a decision of the District Court in which the IND was ordered to refund the visa charges to a Japanese employee. This court referred to an earlier ruling of the Council on 19 June 2013 that substantiated the position of the Japanese under the Dutch-Swiss Friendship Treaty. Remarkably the Council now annulled its earlier considerations, and concludes in a speed record of 392 words to a 180 degrees perspective. Uitspraak: Japanners hoeven niet in te burgeren

Julien Luscuere Attorney at law, Dutch and European immigration and employment Another milestone for Japanese citizens: On 5 July 2016 the District court Rotterdam has granted the appeal of my client, a Japanese woman who has a residence permit for the purpose of family reunification. My cliënt protested against the decision of the City of Rotterdam that she should fulfill the citizen integration duties. She is working hard to learn the Dutch language but it is difficult to pass the exams. The court now explicitly considers that these integration duties are a breach of the international law and revoked the decision of the city       Interessant artikel?
