The cultural iceberg
At the moment I am enjoying a course on Futurelearn about # diversity ( https://www.futurelearn.com/…/diversity-inclusion-awareness/ ) . Todays homework is finding an illustration on internet of the Iceberg of # Culture . Diversity is not only foreigners or people from another faith but people from another group in general like "rich people", "people with a mental disability". As you can see only the outside expression of that culture is visible, all the other elements are below t he waterline. Some of those elements are a surprise to me. The under the water elements are influenced by your core values. Some of those things I regarded as "normal for all people" and the picture made me realise groups can differ from each other with that as well.
